Miso

Miso is an extremely friendly resident here. She is very distinctive, both in the colour and the fact that she only has three legs. Miso’s reason for coming to the sanctuary is an all too common and sad one. Her owner contacted us to explain that she was going through a marriage breakup and due to new accommodation, which she needed to move into quickly, she was unable to keep her. It was arranged that Miso would be brought to the sanctuary. Her owner explained that Miso had been involved in a car accident when she was young, which had resulted in her losing one of her back legs.

Miso settled into life at the sanctuary very well and was no trouble at all. She received plenty of attention from us to settle her and lapped up every bit of it! As with our previous three-legged cats, she has no difficulty with mobility and climbs trees and walls with ease. Miso is an avid explorer and spends as much time outside as she possibly can. In the winter, she will spend the cold nights in Rowanberry but once it’s daylight she’s out again, scooting round from the back fields to the front lawn!

Miso is a great character here and making her available for sponsorship is somewhat overdue so we’re sure it won’t take long for her to build them up – would you like to sponsor her, you can’t say no to that face can you…?
